Whirlwind Opportunities

January is definitely networking month for the jazz community here in NYC and I’ve definitely been trying to make the most of it. I attended my first ever Jazz Congress at Lincoln Center and heard more than one person say that milennials are saving jazz. I am proud of my generation for valuing experiences and art over material possessions. With the economy as it is I think that many milennials have turned to entrepreneurial endeavors and have realized through that how important it is to support each other to keep things afloat. The jazz community is a great place to see that in action.
