I am open for private students who are professional, working musicians looking to increase their knowledge and creativity and develop their personal improvisational language.
Private study with me includes an intensive ear training regimen that includes piano work, transcription, and singing shapes, scales, intervals, and chords, as well as application through repertoire building, arranging, and composition. 1-month, 3-month, and 6-month programs can be created and tailored to your goals as a working musician, whether it's to learn 20 standards to start your "book", to write/arrange/learn music for a new album, or just to build skills like dexterity and improving your harmonic awareness.
